I've decided to run in next year's local elections because I lived in Moss Side, a neighborhood that developed during a period of rapid growth. I understand the constant struggle for essential services, having personally witnessed the consequences of poor planning decisions. The upcoming local election presents an opportunity to choose new, innovative Council members. As an independent candidate, my sole aim is to secure the best value for the residents of Moss Side. Manchester Council requires a fresh approach and creative solutions, beyond mere good intentions. It's time for a candidate dedicated to serving the community, rather than political parties and their narrow agendas. Government should prioritise local issues, free from the influence of party politics and the often unfulfilled promises of party manifestos.
